Gigi's Story
Gigi as charming and funny as they come. This sweet, funny girl had a heartbreaking start to life—she was found at an abandoned trailer with several other puppies after their people moved away, taking the adult dogs and leaving the puppies behind to survive on their own. Puppies can’t fend for themselves, but Gigi’s spirit never dimmed.

Despite her rough beginning, Gigi is incredibly affectionate and full of love. She adores people, thrives on attention, and has a way of making everyone around her smile. She absolutely loves toys, enjoys playing with other dogs, and comes running the moment she spots her foster mom—tail wagging and ready for affection. Gigi is truly a “people dog” who just wants to be close to her humans.

She’s eager to please and already shows a strong desire to bond, making it clear she’s ready to be someone’s loyal companion. All Gigi needs now is a family to call her own—one that will give her the love and security she’s been waiting for.

Gigi has received three rounds of puppy vaccines, has been dewormed, and is currently on Simparica Trio.

If you’re looking for a sweet, loving puppy who will return your love tenfold, Gigi is ready to steal your heart.
⸻

Foster & delivery Information — Please Read

This dog is fostered with one of our rescue families in Texas and is available to travel north on our scheduled trips, which run at least twice each month.

Due to recent technical changes on this site that began in early December, dogs fostered outside an adopter’s immediate area may not appear unless filters are adjusted. We encourage adopters to read profiles fully and reach out with any questions — we are always happy to help. Inquiries through the site are not always coming through. If you send an inquiry and we do not answer, we didn't get it. The trip is long and demanding, and it would not be safe or fair for a dog or puppy to travel north and then return to Texas.
• No deposits are accepted.
• All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up.
⸻
Adoption Applications

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please do not delay applying. Occasionally, we may not have had a puppy long enough for a second round.

Puppies under 6–8 months of age are not spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is a required condition of adoption and must be completed by the puppy’s first birthday, at the adopter’s expense. Out-of-state surgery costs are not included in the adoption fee.
⸻
About Our Rescue
Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Adoption proceeds go directly toward:
• Spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana
• Medical care for rescued puppies and dogs
• Emergency veterinary assistance for families in need when possible

All dogs remain in Texas foster homes until adopted.
⸻
Breed Disclaimer:
Breed is our best estimate based on the puppy’s appearance and, when known, the mother’s appearance. Fathers are rarely known, and litters can have multiple fathers, meaning puppies may be half-siblings with different breed mixes.
⸻
Follow Us on Facebook: Atlanta Texas Area Spay/Neuter Project

Follow us on TikTok: ATASNP
