Gigi's Story

Requirements:
-If there is another dog in the home, the dog must be compatible with Gigi
-If there are children in the home, they must be at least 8 years old and respectful of a dog's boundaries
-Gigi's home must have a fully secured fenced yard (no apartments)

Pup-sonality:
Gigi is a striking brindle Boston Terrier mix that you have to see to believe and she fits so much personality into such a small package.

If you've always wanted a dog that is happy to see you whether you've been gone for a few minutes or a few hours, Gigi is your gal. She is always happy to see you and loves, loves, loves to get attention from you.

Gigi is crate trained and house trained, and is a champion snorer. She does not play with toys, but she does love to run around the yard to get her zoomies out and loves sunning herself on the patio. Due to recent heartworm treatment recovery, Gigi should be monitored to keep her activity a little lower for a while, but once she's given the go ahead, she will be ready to party.

Gigi is not a dog that knows the meaning of personal space, she wants to be with you, on you, or next to you. However, when the humans are busy, she's happy to be entertained by another dog playing chase-me or to snuggle up with them in bed for a rest.

She has been fostered in a home with cats and is mostly indifferent to their existence. Gigi has been around children and loved following them around, but she also isn't a fan of loud noises, so older children would be best for her.

At the end of the day, Gigi just wants to love and be loved in return. She wakes up happy every day and stays upbeat and silly all day long. She will make the perfect family member and already knows she's the goodest girl.

Medical Note: Gigi was treated for heartworm and must remain on preventatives every month for the rest of her life. Gigi received a Pro Heart 12 injection on April 11, 2025. Pro Heart 12 protects against heartworm disease for 12 months. She will only require Nexguard each month for flea/tick prevention until March 2026. For April 2026, she will require a new prescription for Nexguard and Heartguard or Advantage Multi for year-round ongoing preventative treatment.
