Gigi Hound Hayesville, NC

Meet Gigi! She is an amazing one year old, 55 pound dog that was hit by a car and miraculously survived. She was seriously injured, though. Gigi's pelvis was broken and one rear leg had been dislocated from its hip socket. She had dozens of scrapes on her lower legs, too The impact must have been enormous to cause so many skin tears and bone fractures.

Her former owner signed her over to animal control because they were not able to pay for her care. We got Gigi from animal control and she went directly to the vet clinic where she had orthopedic surgery the next day to repair both problems. $4000 later, she is a happy girl and looking for her forever home.

Gigi is loving, house broken and can use a doggie door to let herself out. She would love a doggie playmate and maybe some kids to love on her. She loves to play with squeaky toys. She especially likes the small ones that fit easily in her mouth. Gigi is living with several other small dogs and gets along well with them. She sleeps in her doggie bed every night.

Gigi has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $300.00.
