Gigi's Story

Calling all hound lovers! Gigi is wonderful southern gal. She is a wiggly, young sniff-seeker with wonderful long and silky ears, as every hound should be!

At 50 lbs, Gigi is not petite girl. Rather, she is long and lean with expressive eyes and a nose made for business. Gigi came to us as an owner surrender from southern Virginia and she is still warming up to the hustle and bustle of Maryland. Loud noises may give her a start, but they don't deter her from exploring the new smells of the neighborhood. And while she is dog friendly, she obligingly passes other dogs up and sticks to her business.

While Gigi is new to PAW, it appears that she is house trained as she does not soil her kennel but rather, she keeps her living space clean. She can be hard to catch for a good snuggle while outside, but once back indoors, Gigi enjoys ear and rear-end scratches, and reciprocates snuggles.

Gigi would love a home with a fenced-in yard as she would likely want to spend ample time outside. She would be a great hiking buddy, but you may have to take your time to let her enjoy the trail smells too. Gigi is a wonderful, active girl who is sniffing out her forever person and a soft place to call home!

PAW adopts in the MD, northern VA, DC and northern PA region.
