Old faithful is the definition of a dog’s love. They give more than they ask for and love without judgement. Geyser is the cutest old faithful. His being cute with his lazy wave is a daily guarantee. We thought at first he was giving us paw without the command. That wasn’t his intention. He just wants attention but not enough to bring his paw all the way up. Geyser knows what he likes (treats or bust people) and we respect that. <br/><br/>Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.<br/><br/>All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.<br/><br/>All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).<br/><br/>We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s).
