Gertie's Story

Gertie was found along with a little pittie puppy stuck in a sticker bush beside the road. She is believed to now be three years old. Her foster mom adopted her and recently returned her to the rescue due to changes in the family.
Gertie would do best by herself or possibly along with a submissive male. She did previously live with another male.
Would do best with older children. She didn't live with children in her previous home but saw them when her mom took her out to the farmer's markets. She basically ignored them until the food came out and then they were best friends. Older children would be best because she is very playful and loves to zoom around the yard.
Gertie loves to be around you and when you are sitting in your chair she loves to join you on your lap. She is the sweetwest girl ever and prefers your attention over her food.
Gertie would be great for a hiking partner or even your coach potato with time outside for her to get her zoom time in.
