Meet Georgie Porgie!<br/><br/>3-year-old neutered male Lab mix (with some Pointer and hound flair!) Georgie Porgie is one of those dogs who makes you wonder — how has no one snatched him up yet? <br/><br/>Georgies was adopted as a pup but unfortunately, like many dogs, when the puppy cuteness wore off he was designated to the backyard and just left alone and this went on for two years till the rescue was asked to help him. The family was glad to surrender him to us - and he is now enjoying being an inside dog in his foster home in Louisiana with plenty of doggy housemates. <br/><br/>Good thing this sweet boy holds no grudges! He is a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly once that curiousity gets hold then he is eager to connect. His foster mom takes him out and about all the time - car rides are his favorite! Those wonderful squeaky toys that he never had in his previous home are another one of his favorite things too! .<br/><br/>His Louisiana foster mom has loved and trained him and would love to chat with approved adopters about this special boy!<br/>Ready to come north and find his forever family! <br/><br/>Please note Georgie, like most of our dogs, is located in Louisiana.
