Georgie's Story
Hey there, Georgie girl!

**APPLICATIONS CLOSED**

Meet Georgie, a tiny and gregarious sprite! Georgie was abandoned by her previous family has settled into life here in foster, finding herself in search of a forever family.

With expressive hazel eyes and kind and easygoing nature, G is an adorable girl. And we don't say this often, especially in rescue and most especially with the littles, but G is an EASY dog! She gets along with everyone: other dogs, cats, kids and also loves meeting new people. She's friendly, affectionate and affable. She currently lives other dogs with zero issues. She's quiet and was a rock star for her Canadian vet visit. She's also great in the car and can be left alone and will rest quietly at home for several hours, if need be. Her foster parents work out of the home most days and say she's a really easy dog to live with (and it's not their first rodeo).

At about 2 years old and tipping the scales at a mighty 6 kilos, Georgie would be suitable for a first-time owner (something else we rarely say here) and with other dogs, cats and kids. She is a mini schnauzer mixed with something…Yorkie? Poodle? Who knows? Georgie does not shed but she requires regular grooming. Her foster mom has also started brushing her teeth. Huh. Regarding kiddos, we'd prefer homes with dog-savvy kids 10+, it's just easier on everyone. Also, due to her extremely petite size and submissive nature with people and with other dogs, we prefer families without very large dogs.

Our wish list for Georgie? A home with a fenced yard and maybe another pup to hang with (or even a cat), a guardian/guardians that work from home at least a couple of days a week, and someone committed to giving her a lifetime of love. She'd also be okay in a condo, with regular outings (coffee runs count, FYI). She's pretty low maintenance, doesn’t need a lot of physical activity but she craves A LOT of companionship. Netflix and chill? Goodreads and a page-turner? G is your girl!

Georgie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and house trained. She's adoptable in the GTHA. G will be adopted with a Tractive pet tracker for her safety and year's subscription to this service for free.

G's adoption fee is 700.00. If you think you're a match of her, we'd love to hear from you!

Please visit our website for more photos, info and to download an adoption application: http://www.saveafrienddogrescue.org/dogs-for-adoption.html

For more info on our rescue and Georgie too, visit us on FB: https://www.facebook.com/saveafrienddogrescue
