Georgia's Story

Georgia is a young German Shepherd/ Husky mix and is energetic and smart. She is sensitive to loud noises or chaotic situations but is very loving and loyal once she feels secure and safe. Georgia gets along well with her foster family dogs (both male and female) as she likes to nap with the older dog and play with the younger dog. She also gets along with older kids but will need slow intros to meet new friends as she is cautious and reserved. She is house broken and kennel trained and will go into the crate when instructed. Although she may be stubborn at times, Georgia is a wonderful girl who just wants to love and be loved. She is a sweetheart who is active enough to go on walks but also chill and curl up on your lap.

Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
All MLGSDR rescues are given a thorough check-up by our vet, including heartworm and parasite testing, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and given age-appropriate vaccinations. They are then placed in foster care for at least (3) weeks, taught basic obedience and manners and socialized before they are available for adoption. All adopters are required to complete a basic obedience class with their new dog as stated in the adoption contract. Fill out an adoption application here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/28001/generic We host a variety of events throughout the year including brat fry’s, pet expo’s, photos with Santa & the Easter Bunny, craft shows and bake sales.
