George Strait's Story

Meet George Strait

Just like his namesake, George Strait has a quiet charm that grows on you the more time you spend with him. This handsome black and tan German Shepherd is about one year old and is looking for a patient, loving family who will help him continue building his confidence.

George was found earlier this year and has come a long way thanks to the care and dedication of his foster and our volunteers. He is now neutered, current on his shots, and doing well with other dogs. One very important thing to know about George… the way to his heart is TREATS! If you come with snacks, you are already speaking his language.

George can be a little shy at first, especially with men. However, we are told that with time, patience, and gentle introductions, he does very well when men come to meet him at his foster home. Once he begins to trust you, his sweet personality really shines through.

George will need a family that understands that building confidence takes time. Someone willing to go at his pace, give him encouragement, and celebrate the small victories will see what a truly special boy he is.

Because George is still learning and gaining confidence, we believe he would do best in a home with older children rather than young kids.

George is a very sweet boy with so much love to give — he just needs the right person to believe in him.

If you think you might be the one to give George the loving home he deserves, please submit your adoption application.

Saving Paws Rescue AZ
