Forever home found

The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.
Phone interviews do not take place til after an approved application is on file and we have a possible match for your home

My name is George. I am a 7 year old MIX and weigh 33 pounds. I need a new home because I was found as a stray. I am being fostered in Aurora, CO.

I’m a happy, friendly guy who loves everyone I meet. Honestly, being nice is kind of my whole thing.

Do you like cuddles? Because I love cuddles. Want kisses? I’ve got plenty, and I give them out generously. I’m the kind of dog who wants to curl right up on you, next to you, near you, anywhere as long as we’re together. I don’t sleep in your bed though. I would rather sleep in my own bed on the floor.

I have one deformed foot, but don’t worry, it doesn’t bother me one bit. I’ve decided it’s just part of what makes me unique. It certainly doesn’t keep me from playing, prancing around, or joyfully tugging on toys with my foster siblings.

I recently had a dental exam and even had a tooth pulled, but the best part? My breath is amazing now! Perfect for all the kisses I’m ready to give my new family.

I adore my foster brother and sister! We play tug together, explore together, and just generally enjoy life as a little pack. I’d be happy in a home with other dogs, but I’d also be perfectly delighted to be your one-and-only cuddle buddy.

My perfect home? A warm lap. A cozy couch. Someone who loves snuggles as much as I do. Someone I can give kisses to and someone who will hold me close. That’s really all I need.

I have ... a great personality! Even the vet was impressed with how nice I am!
am learning dog manners, so I am a little pushy with other dogs, but I just want to be friends! I am learning to read their cues!

I would rather not ... be in a crate or confined. I will cry for quite a while to be let out. I am a good boy though and can be trusted in the house.
I need ... someone who will give me all the love and care that I deserve.

Here's a little more about me:
Housetrained? Yes!
Leash-trained? Working on it
Rides well in car? Yes!
Good with other dogs? Yes! I am still learning dog manners though. I just want to be everyone’s friend
Good with cats? I don’t even notice the ones living in my foster home
Good with young children? Yes
Good with strangers? Yes!
Shy or confident? Confident
Barks? yes
Apartment qualified? No
Any Special needs or Health Issues? I have a deformed foot. The vet thinks it was a congenital issue that I was born with. I don’t let it slow me down though!
Adoption Fee? $ 325

The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at ''https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
