WEIGHT: approx. 65 lbs.<br/><br/>MY STORY: George is a handsome Schnauzer mix that was turned in to a shelter by his owner. Fluffy Dog Rescue was lucky to get him and now he is on the hunt for his forever home. We have heard and experienced nothing but good manners from George and his foster mom can attest to all the amazing things about George. <br/><br/>Here's the latest from George's amazing foster family: <br/>George is an absolute gentleman. He is fully housebroken and has not had a single accident while with us. He gets along well with other dogs, even those who bark at him. George greets people with a sweet, gentle demeanor and ear scratches are his favorite.<br/><br/>George enjoys going for walks, though he doesn’t require long distances; after about a half-mile, he naturally starts to slow his pace. He walks beautifully on a leash, though he can be a bit stubborn if he spots another dog. He manages a few stairs without issue, but he has not yet attempted our full staircase. It’s unclear whether he’s unsure of the rules or simply not comfortable with them yet.<br/><br/>He loves treats and gets very excited when it’s mealtime. George happily approaches for affection and will even place a paw on you if pets aren’t delivered promptly. Although he hasn’t used our kennel, he hasn’t needed to. He’s never gotten into anything he shouldn’t. At night, he sleeps quietly on the couch and settles in with no trouble.<br/><br/>George is a gentle, loving soul who would thrive with a family ready to offer him a cozy spot to relax and all the affection he deserves.<br/><br/>Fostered in Madison, WI <br/><br/>See more on George's Facebook: Fost and Found<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE: $550<br/><br/>To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION. <br/><br/>Adopters must be 24 years of age. We cannot adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. We are unable to guarantee the breeds of our dogs.<br/>WI License #270548.
