George is a 8-10 year old mix breed. He was picked up as a stray in Hartford CT and he was deemed unfriendly in the shelter. George was clearly frightened in the loud, cold shelter, and did what he needed to to make people leave him alone. He has since settled into his foster home and let his true personality shine through. While he does not love to be picked up he does love attention, a couch or lap to sleep in and soft treats. George is up to date on all of his medical and had several teeth removed which made him much more comfortable. He lives with teenagers and cats, but we would suggest a home without cats as he is highly interested in them. George would make a great companion.
