Now that he’s discovered open space, he’s loving the chance to run, explore, and, most importantly, snuggle.<br/><br/>The Highlights:<br/><br/>16-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer<br/><br/>Sweet face, soft fur, expert-level cuddle skills<br/><br/>House trained, learning leash manners, knows “sit” (briefly)<br/><br/>Great with kids, dog-friendly in passing, but would prefer to be your one-and-only at home<br/><br/>Needs a solid fenced yard—he’s a bouncy guy who loves to stretch his legs<br/><br/>Eats with enthusiasm (think competitive speed-eating champ) — a slow feeder helps keep dinner from disappearing in 3.2 seconds<br/><br/>Curious, affectionate, eager to please<br/><br/>George is very birdy and does come from a lineage that hunts, he may enjoy hunting with some formal training<br/><br/>Working on recall and doing well, but should stay safely on leash or in a fenced yard<br/><br/>George enjoys other dogs at a safe social distance—passing by on walks, wagging at the neighbors’ pups, or greeting through a fence.
