What is K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore’s adoption process?

An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit. ~~~~~~~~~~ PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations. While we may not be capable of immediate response, we will respond to all inquiries and application submissions as soon as possible. Thank you for thinking adoption!
