Miss Gentle is THAT dog who all future dogs will be compared to. She has only ever known one family (with kiddos) and, through twists of fate, they have had to make the heartbreaking decision to give her up so that she can have the care every bulldog so desperately needs. Our Gentle miss made herself right at home, and is just such an easy, 'seems like she has always been a part of the family', girl that we KNOW she is going to make the perfect addition to ONE lucky family. Gentle is very much one of those IYKYK kind of dogs, so we suggest applying quickly, because sweet girls like this don't often land in rescue. Gentle is getting beautiful, and is ready to meet her adopting fans NOW. Get in quick, little girl is not going to stick around for long. Austin Bulldog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Austin Bulldog Rescue will consider adoptive families in the Austin, surrounding areas, and the northwest San Antonio area. This is simply due to logistics and distance of travel for our volunteers. Our goal is to make the best rescue match taking into consideration the Bulldog’s background and your family’s needs. Every Bulldog is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a furever-home match. We are very careful about the placements we make. We do our best to match the right Bulldog with the right adoptive home, because we want this to be the dog's permanent home. If you are willing to wait for the right rescue to be matched to you, you are an ideal candidate for ABR. As our success rate proves, these precious dogs are well worth the wait. If acquiring a dog is a time sensitive issue for you or your family, rescue may not be for you.
