She loves engaging with her person and would make an amazing companion for someone who enjoys a clever, interactive dog.<br/><br/>Genie loves long walks, outdoor adventures, rolling in the grass, squeaky toys, sticks, and cozy snuggles. She’s also a big fan of treats and “cheese runs” to Buc-ee’s. Despite her active side, she’s a total cuddle bug who always wants to be close to her person.<br/><br/>She would thrive in an adult-only home as the only dog, though she may coexist with a calm cat. She is not a fit for homes with children or small animals.<br/><br/>Genie can be sensitive and likes her boundaries respected, so she needs a patient, confident adopter who understands independent dogs and will let her settle in at her own pace.
