Gena Gene

Meet Gena Gene!

Gena Gene is an absolutely adorable 1 year old Terrier/Dachshund mix weighing around 12 pounds, and this little lady is just as sweet as can be! We’re not entirely sure what breeds make up her adorable little mix, but one thing we know for sure is that she’s a wonderful, happy go lucky girl with so much love to give!

Gena Gene was rescued from a shelter and is now settling into foster care while she waits for her very own forever family. And let us tell you, this little girl has been nothing short of wonderful! She’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, social, and just an all-around happy girl. She has gotten along beautifully with everyone she’s met so far, including other dogs and people. She truly has such a sweet, loving personality and seems to find happiness in just about everything!

Gena Gene is the perfect combination of cuddly companion and adventurous little sidekick! She absolutely LOVES giving kisses, snuggling up with her people, and soaking up all the affection she can get. But she’s also a curious little girl who enjoys getting outside, exploring, and going on adventures. Whether you’re spending a relaxing afternoon at home or heading out to enjoy the day, Gena Gene would be thrilled to be right by your side!

She’s also doing wonderfully with her daily routine in foster care! Gena Gene has been sleeping in a playpen at nighttime and is doing well with going potty outside, although she has used pee pads occasionally, too. She’ll need a little patience and consistency as she adjusts to a new home and learns her family’s routine. The good news? She’s a very smart little girl who is food motivated, which should make continued training a fun and rewarding experience!

Gena Gene is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and will have her health certificate prior to adoption. She’s truly such a sweet, friendly, affectionate little dog who deserves a wonderful family to call her own. If you’re looking for a happy, loving little best friend who will shower you with kisses, enjoy adventures by your side, and happily curl up for cuddles afterward, Gena Gene might just be your perfect match!

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application
