I am a total cuddle bug, and nothing makes me happier than being close to you, getting gentle pets, and snuggling deep under cozy blankets.<br/>When I'm not busy being your best snuggling partner, I love to play with my toys and chew on my favorite rawhides.<br/><br/>Im a beautiful brindle girl that is the perfect mix of playful energy balanced with naps and sweet cuddles. The best match for me would be the pet-less home of any size family. Im good with older kids, active singles, or a retired couple. <br/><br/>I've been working on my leash manners. I get excited and bark when I see other dogs on our walks, but I'm trying my best to stay focused on you and have made huge progress. <br/>Im a smart girl and know the basic commands and how to use a doggy door. If you need to leave me for a few hours, Im fine on my own. Ill enjoy a nice snooze and hold the fort until you return. Ive not been destructive when left alone. But if you prefer, I will nap in a crate until you return.<br/>In the evening, I like to unwind by sitting next to you on the couch or play with my toys. At bedtime, I prefer to curl up on your bed. Im a sound sleeper and I dont snore. Overall, I just want to be next to my humans, bond with daily walks, and make wonderful memories. Working on leash aggression with positive reinforcement and distraction<br/>Rides well in a car? Im okay in the car<br/>Good with other dogs? Not housemates however play dates out of the home are fine.<br/>Good with cats? No<br/>Good with young children? Only exposed to 10 to 13-year olds and was good. I get startled easy with sudden movements and loud noises<br/>Good with strangers? Yes<br/>Shy or confident? I am pretty confident and love meeting new people<br/>Barks? Barks at other dogs on a walk<br/>Apartment qualified? No<br/>Any Special needs or Health Issues? Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.<br/><br/>MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.<br/><br/>If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application<br/><br/>Petfinder's form is NOT our application.
