Gemma's Story

Gemma!!

This beautiful kind girl is a long haired Shepard around 3 years old. Weighing around 60 pounds.

Gemma is goofy, sweet, gentle, smart, and loves people so much! Crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands. Loves going for walks, but could use some leash work. She’s quick to learn new things, and very receptive to corrections.

Gemma’s story is a lot like so many dogs we come across. Adopted as a puppy, then rehome when she got bigger, then the next home decided she didn’t have time for her, so she got lost in the system of not being wanted. It’s heart breaking, but we are so happy we were able to give Gemma the chance she deserves to find her final forever home. Shes an amazing dog, who would make a wonderful family dog, or a fantastic companion for someone.

She’s done well with other dogs, and is currently living with a handful of dogs in her foster home. She is scheduled to be fixed, and is up to date on her vaccines. She has medium energy, and would make a fantastic adventure buddy. Loves to go for car rides! She’s a hard core cuddle bug, and knows how to chill when it’s time to chill. She’s good at reading a room!

Gemma would thrive off of consistency, structure, and lots of love.
