She recently came to FDHS as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed by her previous family.<br/><br/>Garnet is the sweetest, snuggliest girl. She just needs a little time to warm up to new people and new places. We've learned that a gentle touch, a soft voice, and a tasty treat are the fastest way to win her heart.<br/><br/>She's already been a darling with our staff and is slowly making friends with our volunteers. Garnet has been playful and friendly with the other shelter dogs and hasn't met our resident cats just yet. Based on how calm and submissive she is, we'd be genuinely surprised if she turned out to be the confrontational type.<br/><br/>Shelter life has been a scary adjustment for Garnet, but we know she's going to blossom in a loving, patient home where she can finally relax and be herself.
