Gardenia's Story
Meet Gardenia - a vibrant, colorful, and absolutely stunning 4 year old pittie girl who is ready to bloom in her forever home!

Gardenia is a phenomenal little lady. She walks beautifully on a leash, loves kids, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and even cats. No prey drive here - this girl is a lover through and through!

When it comes to playtime, Gardenia is the gentlest soul. She rolls over like a cat when she plays which is honestly one of the most endearing things you will ever see. She is super treat motivated making her a joy to work with, and she absolutely thrives on the attention of her people. This girl just wants to be loved and she will give every ounce of that love right back.

Now, let's talk personality because Gardenia is truly one of a kind. She is fairly convinced she is a deer and thinks Fence hopping should be her form of cardio. A 6 foot fenced in yard may be best for this little lady. Although she may want to frolic like a deer, she listens so well to her foster mom that she trots right back to the front door after her parkour exercise.

She does get excited around people which can make her be a bit jumpy and nibbly. She may benefit from occasional reminders of manners.

It is also worth noting that Gardenia does best taking direction from women. She listens beautifully and responds well to her foster mom but is not quite as receptive to men at this time. A little more time and patience may be needed to earn this sweet girl's trust!

One important note - Gardenia takes her meals very seriously. This is MY food and don't you forget it! She may need separate feeding time from other furry siblings in the home.
Gardenia is sweet, sassy, full of personality, and bursting with love just waiting to be poured into her forever family.
