Hi! I'm Gambit, estimated at 2—3 years old, 23lb, Terrier mix. <br/><br/>I was rescued from a shelter that scheduled me to be euthanized because I was terrified when animal control scooped me off the street and I wasn’t happy being handled by this many strangers, it was really scary, and they didn’t know what to do with me :( The shelter was really loud and overwhelming.<br/><br/>A Tasca’s Love volunteer read my story and decided I was worth saving.<br/><br/>Let me tell you, the first four days at my foster home in Maryland I was still unsure about what’s going on, I wouldn’t let my foster touch me, and I would make myself so small in the corner, hoping she wouldn’t see me. Can you really blame me?!<br/><br/>That was so yesterday’s news :) <br/><br/>A few more days with my foster, showed me that humans are not really that scary. I am now very playful, love tummy rubs, follow my foster around and boy oh boy do I love food! I just needed time to come out of my shell.<br/><br/>I love playing with other dogs too! I haven’t met cats yet, so I don’t know about them.<br/><br/>I am neutered and up to date on all my shots.<br/><br/>I am looking for a home to show me love, and give me the time I need to love them back.
