I ran through traffic, searched for food wherever I could, and waited for someone to come back for me. Nobody did.<br/><br/>Then I ended up in the shelter.<br/><br/>I was so scared there that I stopped eating. Every day I got thinner and sadder. Eventually, they put me on the euthanasia list.<br/><br/>But a nice family saved me. They reminded me that humans can be kind. They helped me gain weight back, taught me I was safe, and let me sleep without being afraid.<br/><br/>I finally started wagging my tail again. 💛<br/><br/>But now I need somewhere new to go because their resident dog isn’t comfortable with me, and they can’t keep me long term.<br/><br/>Please don’t let me go back to a kennel.<br/><br/>I don’t do well in boarding environments. I get scared and shut down again.
