Say hi to Galileo! Galileo is a spirited, 6 year old dachshund mix boy, with a heart full of adventure and a nose for discovery. Gailileo is a little adventurer who loves to go on walks. Galileo is a charming boy with a big heart and is looking for a forever family to share that love with. Galileo is a champion cuddler, and loves to sit down and show you his toys. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and wide smile, and is happy to play with everyone. Loyal, loving, and endlessly curious, If you’re looking for a four-legged friend who will fill your life with excitement, this daschsund mix is the perfect companion for your home. Galileo would be best in a home with no young children. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.

Second Chance SPCA's Adoption Policy

ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come to our adoption center during business hours. Appointments are not required. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months.
