Gaia's Story

Let’s just address the (adorable) elephant in the room:
Gaia has a rare condition known as RBF — Resting Beautiful Face.
Yes, she may look like she’s judging your every move, but that’s just how her face works. Inside, she’s a marshmallow. A soft, sweet, picnic-loving, sunset-chasing, goofball marshmallow.

Gaia is what we’d call a “classic model” — elegant, low drama, and always looking just slightly unamused. But make no mistake, she’s living her best life. She’s into all the regular dog things: zoomies in the yard, belly rubs from her people, chill car rides with the window cracked just right. Gaia doesn’t need much — just a human (or two) to love, a cozy crate, and literally zero cats. Like none. Not even a statue of a cat. She’s made it clear: cats = suspicious gremlins and Gaia is not here for that.

This girl is crate trained, house trained, emotionally trained, and possibly more emotionally intelligent than most humans. She listens, learns fast, and loves hard — once you’re in, you’re in. She’d be perfect for a family, a solo human, or a dog sibling who matches her “peaceful but playful” vibe.

Backstory moment: Gaia was pulled from animal control in February 2024 with her four puppies (yes, she’s a former supermom). Somehow, she’s still with us over a year later — which is just wrong. She’s been patiently waiting, perfectly behaved, and slightly side-eyeing the whole situation.

So if you’re looking for a dog who’s beautiful, calm, slightly judgy (in a fun way), and totally loyal, Gaia might just be your soulmate. RBF and all.
