Gage's Story
1 year old, 59 pounds

Personality: shy, affectionate, playful, energetic, timid/fearful, goofy/funny, snuggler, and good running partner.

Say hello to Gage! Once he gets beyond some early shyness, this joyful cuddler is all friendship, energy, and excitement. Expect prolonged loving gazes from his beautiful golden brown eyes, a perfect precious doggy head tilt, and plenty of couch time for belly rubs.

Gage has perfected house training and is working on his leash manners and getting comfortable in his crate. He sleeps through the night in his doggy bed, and loves zoomies in the yard (especially with a ball or stick), nice sniff-filled walks, chew toy play sessions, and sniffing out yummy hidden bacon treats.

This good boy does great with the older kids in his foster home and likes to calmly sniff new folks once they've settled in. Gage adjusts quickly to his environment and has a big heart he can't wait to give away. If he sounds like a good fit for your home, apply today to meet Gage!

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC.
