Gabriel (Gabe)'s Story
Gabe is the happy-go-lucky little dude everyone dreams about adding to their family. Think sunshine with legs... very short legs... that can climb anything.

This sweet boy is carefree, kiss-happy, and always ready to play. He LOVES toys, chases a ball with great enthusiasm, and is learning to come to his name (especially if snacks are involved — this kid is seriously food-motivated). He’s also learning boundaries and manners from his big foster brother, though he sometimes forgets he’s supposed to approach with “calm energy” and not “HELLO I LOVE YOU LET’S PLAY NOW” energy. We get it, buddy.

Gabe’s spirited nature means he’s not a fan of being contained, but he’s making solid progress. He sleeps peacefully in an x-pen at night as long as his people are nearby, but he can’t be left in one when home alone. He’s also a bit vocal when nervous so apartments are a no-go.

A fenced yard is a must for this guy. He’s still adjusting to the big, noisy world, and if startled, he’s the type to want to run and hide. A secure yard will keep him safe while he builds confidence.

He hasn’t met kids in foster care, but with his bubbly spirit, he’d likely do well with kids 6+ who can handle a little jumpy enthusiasm. He loves a good game of chase so cats are not recommended.

Gabe is looking for a family who will interact with him, teach him, and help him grow into the polite little gentleman he’s destined to be. He’s full of love, full of fun, and full of wiggly tail wags. And honestly... his little waddle across the room when he comes over to see you will melt your heart.

If you’re ready for kisses, laughs, and a whole lot of personality in a tiny package, Gabe is your guy.
