Gabe & Bella

Gabe (12) and Bella (9) are a bonded pair of senior dogs, where Gabe goes Bella inevitably follows. They were surrendered because unfortunately their owner passed away. Gabe and Bella get along great with people of all ages. They very much enjoy the freedom of the fenced in backyard at their current foster home, but they are leash trained and a fence is not a requirement. They are both house broken and crate trained, in fact they will often put themselves in their crate when their foster parents are leaving for work! They get along well with other dogs, and they are completely indifferent to cats. Gabe and Bella both enjoy relaxing on the couch and having humans pay attention to them. They never want you to stop petting them! They like to be where the action is and if they are awake will often follow humans around while they go about their activities. Gabe and Bella want to make sure their humans are safe at all times, and will bark to make sure scary people like the mailman or neighbors stay away. They will typically stop their barking if given attention from the humans they are trying to protect. Bella often carries a chew toy around in her mouth to stop herself from barking. Gabe and Bella are sweet, loving dogs who are looking for a home where they can receive love and attention for the rest of their lives. Bella and Gabe love to receive treats, and they particularly love popcorn! Gabe and Bella are neutered and spayed respectively. They are up to date on their shots and microchipped. Gabe does tend to drink an excessive amount of water, he has been tested for diabetes and Cushings, both have come back negative. Their adoption fee is $400.
