My name is Gabby! I'm a 4 year old girl who is very sweet, but I don't fully trust people yet. My perfect match would be a family who is experienced in working with shy dogs who need lots of patience in order to open up into a confident dog, but who are also willing to accept that I might not ever be a "normal" dog. I do enjoy being around my favorite humans in a peaceful, quiet environment after I've had plenty of time getting to know them, but I am still very independent and need to have my space and boundaries respected in order to feel comfortable. I would do best in a home with another dog with a calm demeanor to help teach me how to be a confident and happy dog, as I love to be around my canine friends and really open up around them!
