He weighs 49 lbs, is neutered and is an energetic boy. He is a bit shy, but once he warms up, he's a love bug. He was very fearful of everyone upon arriving here, but those days are gone. He may regress some when he moves to a new situation. He just needs time to warm up and trust. Gizmo is fine with other dogs and very intelligent. I have had to use a padlock because he was able to open the doors. He doesn't really know how to play and prefers to explore, run around and dig for gophers. We are working on car rides. Because he is such a genius he needs a secure yard. He has some resource guarding issues, probably due to his less than pleasant past, but we are working on that.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Rita is 2 years old and weighs about 45lbs. She is more delicate than Gizmo and not as high energy. She is good with other dogs. She can be food and toy aggressive as well. Rita also loves adventure and is also equally as happy to cuddle on the couch. Rita and Gizmo are in search of the perfect home where they can be loved, nurtured and appreciated for the wonderful dogs that they are. Rita is more independent, but Gizmo gets nervous when he doesn't see her around.
