G's Story
G was rescued by our Animal Law Enforcement team and came in emaciated and scared. He has since blossomed in our care, putting on some much-needed weight and learning that the staff and volunteers are safe, and they lead to great walks and play time. He has been great meeting all the volunteers at the kennel but has shown he is nervous about new people approaching him sometimes, especially men, in a new environment. He had a rough start, so it is normal that he needs to go slow with new people and learn to trust! Because of this, we are recommending an adult only home or one with teenager + age kids, and someone who has some prior experience as a dog owner.

G does really well in playgroups with all kinds of other dogs (males, females, different sizes and energy levels) so he may adapt more quickly with another dog in the home to show him the ropes!

Believe me, once he trusts you, he is the most adorable, wiggly, snuggly guy!

If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 11-5pm.

---

The Pennsylvania SPCA - Main Line Animal Rescue

1149 Pike Springs Rd

Chester Springs, PA 19425

Kennel #2857

610-933-0606

info@mlar.org
