Fury's Story

Fury is a 4-year-old, 50lb sweetheart with a gentle soul and a story that will pull at your heart. This handsome one-eyed boy may look a little different, but it only adds to his charm-and it certainly doesn't slow him down. Fury came to us after being surrendered due to his owner's health, but his story started long before that. Prior to his most recent home, Fury experienced abuse and suffered an injury to his eye that ultimately required it to be removed. Despite everything he's been through, he remains incredibly gentle, forgiving, and full of love. The shelter environment makes him a bit nervous, but he shows nothing but submissive, kind behavior. Once he feels safe and comfortable, his playful side comes out-especially with other large dogs, where he enjoys a good round of rough-and-tumble play. He's wonderful with kids, respectful of personal space, and has great manners in a home setting. Fury is both house trained and crate trained, rides well in the car, and loves going for walks (he may pull a little, just excited to be out and about). Fury is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped-fully ready to start his next chapter.
