Fruti's Story

Meet Fruti! THRIVING IN FOSTER! HOUSE-TRAINED, CRATE-TRAINED & LOVES OTHER PUPS!

This 8-month-old, 45-pound mixed breed girl is one fun-loving snuggle baby! Fruti arrived at GLDR with her sister Tooti and brother Rooti who have already been adopted! Let's help Fruti find her forever family too!

Fruti is currently enjoying some much needed time away in a fabulous foster home and we are so excited to share what we've learned about her! House-trained and crate-trained, she is acclimating well to her new routine. She has a blast hanging with her foster fur sister and would love to have a furry pal in her new home-though it's not a requirement.

As she is still a young lady, Fruti will benefit from continued training, daily exercise, and outdoor space to enjoy. She already knows how to sit and enjoys all sorts of treats. Hard bones and peanut butter are a few of her favorites! She enjoys every toy their is! Her foster parents are able to take both toys and food away with no issue. She even does well in the bath!

Fruti is always up for an adventures and enjoys riding in the car. She does seem to have a bit of a prey drive so a yard with a tie out or fence will be needed. She also enjoys rolling around in the grass and being brushed. Fruti will require a capable handler who can meet her physical/mental stimulation needs. She will thrive in a home where she can be part of the fun and continue to build her confidence! At the end of a fun-filled day, she sleeps quietly through the night in her crate.

Based on our evaluation, we feel Fruti would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. We feel she may have the ability to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby!

If you think she's the pup for you, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application for our fantastic Fruti!
