Frosty's Story
Frosty
1 1/2 years old
Male
Neutered
60 lbs

Meet Frosty!

Frosty is a loving, loyal, and affectionate young dog who is ready to find his forever family. He absolutely loves being with his people and is happiest when he's by your side, whether that's playing, cuddling, or trying to curl up in your lap like he weighs only 10 pounds!

Frosty is both potty trained and crate trained. He sometimes appreciates a treat to encourage him into his crate, but once he's settled in, he does great. He sleeps soundly through the night from about 10 PM to 7 AM.

This handsome boy still has plenty of puppy energy and spends his days alternating between playtime and naps. He loves toys and enjoys interactive play. He's also done well with dogs and children. We do not have cats, so we are unsure how he would do in a home with feline friends. Frosty has been very quiet overall, with minimal barking.

Frosty is making progress on his leash skills and walks best using a front-clip harness. Like many enthusiastic young dogs, he can pull hard when he spots squirrels or other dogs. We currently walk him twice a day and are continuing to work on leash manners and basic commands.

Potential adopters should know that Frosty will need continued training and patience. It's clear that he spent much of his puppyhood in a shelter environment and missed out on some of the basic training that many dogs receive early on. He is eager to learn and has so much potential, but he'll thrive with a family committed to helping him build confidence and good manners.

He is sweet, snuggly, and incredibly devoted. Sometimes he's a bit like a bull in a china shopfull of enthusiasm and still figuring out how to manage his long legsbut that's part of his charm. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, playful spirit, and endless affection to give, Frosty may be the perfect addition to your family.

Interested in adopting?
