Frogue's Story

Meet Frogue, who can be a little nervous at first, but is VERY sweet! He's 1 year old, weighs 49 lbs, and loves treats and pets! Our Behavior team noted he takes treats roughly, so we recommend using an open palm to give treats! Outside, he was fairly mellow, got in my lap a few times, and mainly kept his nose to the ground and sniffed things. He does not like fast movements or loud/sudden noises. Kansas Humane Society of Wichita's Adoption Policy

Adoptions are available on a first come, first served basis - no appointment needed. Holds may be placed for a deposit by visiting KHS, or calling 316-524-9196. When you arrive at KHS, let our adoptions counselors know which animal(s) you'd like to meet in our visiting rooms or play yards. We encourage visits by all members of the household, especially kids and other dogs! *Must be 18 years of age or older (or accompanied by an adult) with a current photo ID. Must be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care for your adopted companion.
