Fritz's Story
Meet Fritz! He is a young adult, terrier mix who needs a very special home.

Fritz did not have the best start in life but he is slowly learning how amazing life can be. He needs an adult only home with a family that has worked with very timid and shy dogs. He is one who he needs to see that everything is safe; that means letting him blossom on his own terms. He has been around cats and small dogs and has done well, but he will need very social and easy going pet friends who will also give him time and people who will do slow and safely planned introductions.
Because he is skittish at first (and is sensitive to environmental sounds), a fenced yard is needed for his safety.

He is asking for a lot, but we just want this boy to be successful and loved for the rest of his life.

If you are looking for a sweet soul who needs patience, kindness, and a gentle hand, then head to www.ccrcdogs.to fill out an application.

We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.

Because he is skittish at first (and is sensitive to environmental sounds), a fenced yard is needed for his safety.
He is asking for a lot, but we just want this boy to be successful and loved for the rest of his life.
