Fritz's Story

Fritz is the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home the moment you walk in. This young husky/terrier mix has a big, happy heart, a quick mind, and a whole lot of love to give.

In his foster home, Fritz has settled in easily and proven to be a very livable dog. He's house-trained, polite, and can be trusted to hang out in the living room when his people step out. He may perk up at new sounds like the doorbell, but settles quickly once he knows everything is okay.

Fritz is friendly, affectionate, and loves being part of the daily routine. He's especially sweet with kids and is currently living with a toddler, where he's been gentle and engaged with supervision. He has lived with both dogs and cats and recently met some goat friends, who he seemed to like.

He's a smart, eager learner who already knows sit, down, off, and stay, and picks things up quickly. He enjoys getting outside and going on walks. He can get excited on leash at times, but responds well to guidance and is continuing to improve.

Fritz does best with structure and companionship and is building confidence when left alone and around busy entryways like doors and gates. He's been making great progress with consistency and routine.

Fritz would thrive in a home that can offer regular exercise, continued training, and plenty of time together. He's a loyal, engaging companion who truly loves being part of a home.

If you are interested in adopting, head to hitlivingfoundation.org/adopt to apply

DOB: 12/10/22
Adoption Fee: $550
