Fritz is the kind of dog who fills a room with warmth and makes everyone around him smile. He is a true lover at heart, and despite his size, he is completely convinced he belongs on your lap.<br/><br/>Fritz thrives on connection. Whether it's a lively game of tug, a round of fetch, or a romp in the woods. He is happiest when he is doing things with his person. He has put in the work too, Fritz has been through training and knows how to walk politely on a leash, drop his toys on cue, and take direction from any handler. He is ready to be a great companion from day one. <br/><br/>You may have even met Fritz in person! He has joined us at our adoption events at Metazoa Brewing Company right here in Indianapolis, where he has charmed every human and dog who has stopped to say hello.<br/><br/>Fritz's ideal home is one where he gets plenty of engagement and interaction, someone who loves playing and spending quality time with their dog will be his perfect match.<br/><br/>Life with other dogs: Fritz has spent time around many different dogs and is excitable, but prefers to do his own thing. He does best with a calm, middle-aged dog and has also done well with younger dogs around six months to a year old. He prefers a companion who respects his space. If a dog pesters him, Fritz's solution is simply to walk away and do his own thing. He is not a reactor; he is a peacekeeper.<br/><br/>Small animals: Fritz has a strong prey drive and will chase small animals including cats, squirrels, and bunnies. A home without small pets is not ideal for him.<br/><br/>Good to know: Crate trained · Potty trained · Leash trained · Loves the outdoors
