Frito 9965

Frito is a handsome 2-year-old Bluetick Coonhound with a gentle heart and so much potential. Rescued from Georgia in 2024, he's looking for a patient, loving family who will let him build confidence at his own pace. Frito enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, and doing what hounds do best-following his nose and taking in every fascinating sight and smell. He has moderate energy and would love a family who enjoys exploring with him. New people and unfamiliar situations can make Frito nervous, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, he slowly comes out of his shell. Watching him realize he's safe and begin to trust is incredibly rewarding. He does well with other dogs and may especially enjoy having a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes. Because Frito can be timid and is considered a flight risk, he'll need a secure home and extra care around doors, gates, and unfamiliar places. Frito doesn't need someone to rush him. He needs someone willing to earn his trust-and give him the chance to become the loyal, loving companion he's meant to be.
