Frisky's Story
BASIC FACTS

Breed: Dachshund
Gender: Male
Color: Dapple
Age: 10+ years old
Weight: 14 pounds
Housetrained: Yes, but does have accidents
Crate trained: Yes, but will cry for attention
Good with dogs: Great with small dogs, uncertain about larger dogs
Good with cats: yes
Good with kids: Older kids, 12+
Concerns: none

BIOGRAPHY

Meet Frisky!

My name may be Frisky but my foster family calls me baby Yoda because of my silly ears! I am almost 11 years old but don't let that deter you. I am super cuddly and will stick to my person like Velcro. I love sleeping in bed with my human and just being around my people in general.

I will need an understanding adopter because I was rescued from a home that I had been in all my life and change can be a little confusing for me. For that reason, it will take me a few weeks to settle in so you will have to forgive any accidents I may have in the house. I hate the cold and when it's snowing, I will have more accidents in the house as well, but hey, I AM a dachshund after all!

When I do find a forever family try and help me adjust because I will spend most of my days watching for my foster family to come back to get me. I love cats and smaller dog, but I’m not sure how I would react toward big dogs, and I might find them scary.

I am 14 pounds, neutered and current on vaccinations. Also, my mouth is kind of yucky, so I will be getting my teeth all cleaned up on February 16th, after which I will be all ready to go to my forever home. If you have room in your home and your heart, I promise I will make the most wonderful companion! I am currently being fostered in Dover, PA and my adoption fee is $300.00.
