But with this guy, every day is a celebration! <br/><br/>Meet Friday Weekly - a 1.5 year old, Boxer / Shepherd mix, who weighs 72 pounds (as of 4/2/25). Friday Weekly was previously living in a loving home, but due to some financial struggles, they are no longer able to care for this sweet boy. He's a young, fun loving guy who is looking for a new family to love! We also included a pic of when he was younger, because he was the cutest little pup!<br/><br/>Friday Weekly is an active boy who loves to play with his toys, run around in the yard, and curl up for some belly rubs. While he's fun loving most of time, he's not the biggest fan of the vacuum cleaner or getting baths. He was previously living with a loving family with kids who were 5+ YO and he loved them. He was able to roam freely when left alone at home and can be trusted. He's housebroken, loves to go for rides in the car, and knows basic commands. <br/><br/>He is a wonderful companion who is very loving. He would love a home where he could roam!<br/><br/>Medical note: Friday has been diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia in both hips and will need replacement surgery. The rescue is researching best options for this in terms of cost and care. Anyone interested in this sweet boy can talk about this further with his adoption coordinator.<br/> <br/>All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
