Meet Frida

Frida Kahlo is a 1.5-year-old Chihuahua who can provide a family with lots of love and quality cuddles! She is shy at first but quickly warms up to people. She is the sweetest pup who loves to give kisses! She and her brother spend their days snuggling and being in their foster mom's company!

Frida and her siblings were rescued from a hoarding situation. They received very little socialization until they went into foster care. Frida has been making progress every day in her foster home and will eventually blossom into a confident pup.

Frida is almost fully house trained. Her favorite spot to sleep at night is in bed with you! She walks well on a leash and is not destructive when left alone.

She is a playful girl who is very spunky once her true personality starts to show. She loves to carry her toys and show them off for you. It is hysterical when Frida does her "zoomies" around the house where she will run in circles around you. After that, much of her energy is spent and she is ready to cuddle again!

It is important that Frida continues to receive proper socialization in her forever home so she can reach her full potential. She has come a long way and is looking for a future filled with love!

W.A.R.'s goal is to find the perfect family dynamic and place our dogs in a loving, safe and permanent home. All of our dogs available for adoption are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots and microchipped.

Our adoption process starts with filling an application, home visit, meet and greet and then finalizing with an adoption contract and fee.

Adoption fees range from about $300-$600. These fees help defray costs of veterinary and foster care and are tax deductible.
