Frick's Story

Frick IS FOSTERED IN LOS ALTOS, CA

It is an all too common story. Frick & her littermate Frack were picked up as strays and no one came to claim them. They were sweet dogs, but they clearly had not been well socialized. They were terrified in the shelter and were therefore deemed unadoptable. Since they appear to have a good dose of dachshund in their genetics, the shelter reached out and asked if we would take them into our foster program.. With their sweet faces, how could we say no?

It didn't take long in a home environment to find out how nice both of these dogs are. They have been superb with the other dogs in the home, both ones larger than them and those smaller than them.

Frick is the brave one. She is very clear that she wants to be near people. She is always looking for a lap to sit on.

Frick is young and has lots of energy!! She loves playing tug of war over a toy or playing chase with a bone. New homes should plan on getting her lots of exercise and to continue exposing her to the world. She would like to find a home with another playful dog.

We think Frick would be great with respectful children.

Frick has longer legs so stairs in a home would not be a problem for her.

Frick is spayed. She is current on her vaccinations and microchipped.
