AHFK is located in SE Minnesota, in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.<br/><br/>Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.<br/><br/>All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.<br/><br/>Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.<br/><br/>All our dogs are completely vetted, 4DX tested, current on vaccinations, *spayed/neutered, and microchipped.<br/><br/>We are currently accepting adoption applications for Freya.<br/><br/>Freya is 6 years of age. Her DOB is 09.05.2019. Freya is a recent breeder-release. She does well with other dogs, is indifferent to cats and is a quiet, gentle lady. <br/><br/><br/>Freya is looking for a home where one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Freya acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Freya to acclimate to the changes in her life.<br/><br/>Freya does really well with keeping her night time crate clean and dry, however, changes in routine and environment causes stress and can lead to accidents. A solid routine, patience and compassion are required for all new adoptees.<br/><br/>Meet and greets are scheduled upon approved, completed application.
