Freya's Story
FREYA

CATS:unknown DOGS:yes KIDS:yes
ENERGY LEVEL:medium NEEDS EXPERIENCE:medium

Meet Freya 💕
(aka Twinkle, Pretty Girl, and Baby Girl)

Freya is a beautiful, gentle soul looking for a calm, loving place to land. She’s about 2–2½ years old, a large girl around 70 lbs, and while she may be a little shy at first, her sweet and silly side shines once she feels safe.

Freya has a moderate energy level—she loves having a doggy playmate she can keep up with, but she’s just as happy curling up for a nap or laying quietly at your feet. She’s incredibly affectionate and truly lives up to her “shadow dog” title, happily following her person from room to room just to be near them. She also has such a funny side to her personality and keeps her foster mom laughing.

One of Freya’s favorite things in the world is going for walks. She does well on leash with a harness, though she may pull a bit (very manageable), and she’s still polishing up her leash manners. Loud noises, like the vacuum, aren’t her favorite, and she appreciates a quieter environment.

She is crate trained, house trained, and knows some basic commands… though we’re still discovering everything she knows and helping her learn to wait calmly at doors instead of crowding when people come and go. She’s making steady progress with gentle, consistent guidance.

Socially, Freya is great with people and friendly toward everyone she’s met on walks. She does well with other dogs and would be happy with a canine companion. While she hasn’t been tested with cats, she does tend to lock in on squirrels, so a home without small animals would be best. She would likely do well with kids 5 years and up who can respect her space.

Ideal Home:
Freya would thrive in a quiet, loving home, ideally with another dog but not required. She’s perfect for someone who wants a loyal, affectionate companion who will stick by their side and appreciate a peaceful routine.

APPLY TO ADOPT
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
https://airtable.com/appIgIvoCgfyfTqXz/shrf5In5wlAaWTGCn
