Freya's Story

Meet Freya: The Sweetest Girl Looking for a Forever Home!

2 year old, 51lb Freya was brought into the shelter as a stray in April of 2025. She was immediately described by volunteers as being friendly, affectionate, and social. She was a regular in play groups with other dogs where she showed herself to be very playful, tolerant, and appropriate around other dogs of all temperaments. Our team at Dog Coalition LA loved her so much that one of our own team members took her home as a foster in August to help find her forever home!

In her foster home Freya is excellent. With her 3 foster siblings (1 large momma dog and 2 small pugs), she is well-balanced, playful, and respectful. She is a fast learner, attentive, and already house broken, crate trained, and excellent on leash. Freya is also very affectionate with her foster humans, while not being overly pushy or clingy. She settles down when expected to, sleeps quietly in her crate at night, and is generally just a joy to have around. Not to mention just darling.

We would love to see Freya in a home with other canine friends, though she could also do well as a solo companion with continued socialization and activity. We also believe she would do nicely in a home with children.

What You Should Know About Freya:

- Gorgeous and friendly young girl, a joy to have in class

- Playful with dogs, respectful of boundaries, fast learner

- Might be nice for a family looking to add one more to the crew or someone looking for a well-balanced adventure buddy!

To meet Freya, please fill out an adoption form on dogcoalitionla.org/adopt and follow @ffgandfriends and @dogcoaltionla for updates!
