My name is Freya, I'm almost 5 yrs old and have been with Dog Gone Rescue almost a 4 yrs now; I like it here, but my foster mom says I deserve a forever home where I can get the attention I deserve and the training I need on my manners. I aim to please, but picky about my humans, so it does take me a few minutes to decide if I'll let them love up on me or not. If I like them, I will make sure I give them lots of kisses each day, promise not to chew any of their things, and will kennel up if they need me to, I don't mind. :) I'll even sit or shake for a treat, whichever trick they'd like to see, as I said, I want to please my pet parents...secretly I feel I almost have my foster mom trained to give me a treat no matter which trick I do...I give her my mugsy look and it works every time! lol<br/><br/>I love my foster mom, she takes good care of me; my knees started to hurt so I was having a hard time getting around, had to limp everywhere I went which was hard; luckily, she noticed and took me on a drive to see this new doctor, he and his staff were very nice to me, so I let them help me. They were amazing, it took a couple visits, but they fixed my knees! I couldn't believe it; I'm not having any pain and can run like the wind!! I love running up and down the fence line playing with my neighbor Conway, he thinks he's faster than me but not anymore! :) I would love to have a fenced in yard to run and play in when I go to my new home; I also like to lay in the sunshine and feel the breeze on my face...that would make me so happy!<br/><br/>If you'd like to meet me, please visit, www.doggonerescue.com, to fill out an adoption application, that'll get the ball rolling!
