Freya's Story

My name is Freya, I'm almost 5 yrs old and have been with Dog Gone Rescue almost a 4 yrs now; I like it here, but my foster mom says I deserve a forever home where I can get the attention I deserve and the training I need on my manners. I aim to please, but picky about my humans, so it does take me a few minutes to decide if I'll let them love up on me or not. If I like them, I will make sure I give them lots of kisses each day, promise not to chew any of their things, and will kennel up if they need me to, I don't mind. :) I'll even sit or shake for a treat, whichever trick they'd like to see, as I said, I want to please my pet parents...secretly I feel I almost have my foster mom trained to give me a treat no matter which trick I do...I give her my mugsy look and it works every time! lol

I love my foster mom, she takes good care of me; my knees started to hurt so I was having a hard time getting around, had to limp everywhere I went which was hard; luckily, she noticed and took me on a drive to see this new doctor, he and his staff were very nice to me, so I let them help me. They were amazing, it took a couple visits, but they fixed my knees! I couldn't believe it; I'm not having any pain and can run like the wind!! I love running up and down the fence line playing with my neighbor Conway, he thinks he's faster than me but not anymore! :) I would love to have a fenced in yard to run and play in when I go to my new home; I also like to lay in the sunshine and feel the breeze on my face...that would make me so happy!

If you'd like to meet me, please visit, www.doggonerescue.com, to fill out an adoption application, that'll get the ball rolling! I can't wait to meet you!

Dog Gone Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to adopt from Dog Gone Rescue! We are a foster based rescue, hoping to have a building in near future, but until then, we have wonderful foster families that help us care for the furkids until their adopted. In order to meet and hopefully adopt one of our animals, you'll need to visit our website at, www.doggonerescue.com, to fill out Adoption Application. Once we've processed your application, if your family is determined to be a good match, we'll move forward on setting up a meet-n-greet. If all goes well at the meeting, we'll finalize the adoption at that time and you can take your new furry family member home with you! All of our animals up for adoption are: Spayed/Neutered (unless too young), heart worm tested (FIV/Leuk tested for cats), microchipped, flea treated and of course current on all vaccinations. We strive to make sure we adopt out healthy furkids! Our Adoption Fees are: Dog/Puppies - $200 Cats/Kittens - $75/$50 We require all Adopters that have current pets to have them current on shots and fixed, thanks!
