Freya (26-185)'s Story

5/26/26: Today is our Jail swap day and I was picked to go this month, how exciting is that?! I'll be getting basic obedience training, crate and leash training, making sure I'm housebroken and socialized. I won't be available for adoption until I'm back on June 23rd. If you're interested in visiting me when I'm back, be sure to schedule your appointment on the 24th or 26th. Until then, stay frosty!

---

5/14/26: Meet Freya

Freya is a beautiful girl estimated to be around 6 years old who found her way to us after originally being picked up as a stray by a shelter. She has since been transferred into our rescue, where she's beginning the next chapter of her life surrounded by care, stability, and plenty of fresh starts.

Freya is still settling in and decompressing as she adjusts to all the new sights, sounds, and routines around her. Even so, it's already clear that she's an active girl who enjoys staying engaged and moving right alongside her people.

As we continue getting to know her, we'll be learning more about her personality, preferences, and what kind of home will help her thrive best. Dogs coming from stray situations often need a little time for their true selves to emerge, and watching that process unfold is always something special.

Freya is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped, making her fully ready to begin searching for the forever home she deserves.

For someone looking for an active companion and willing to give her the patience she needs while she settles in, Freya could be a wonderful addition to the family.
