With the aid of our dog playgroups, Freya is learning to open up to canine friends which in turn helps her relax and open up to new human friends! While Freya may take a little extra time to warm up, she is a beautiful, deserving pup looking to new humans to show her that life is good and people are kind, and not so scary after all! Thanks to an outdoor life before entering the shelter, Freya has tested positive for heartworm disease but never fear! Freya's treatment will be covered by the shelter, and she'll be heartworm-free in no time! Be a hero for young Freya and watch her blossom!
